Taking You Where You Want To Go

It's all about the catching...
Everybody will tell you they just love to go fishing and that might be true to an extent, but let's face it, We All Love To Go Catching. I've got 30+ years of experience on the local lakes and spent countless hours putting in fish habitat to ensure success. Placing cover in the lake at all depths and taking into account all wind directions, I've always got something to fish. I utilize Ranger's big 620 model with the newest electronics. On top of the great fishing, I will be running GoPro cameras during the trip. I'll make sure we get some good videos/pictures of your catch for bragging rights at home as well as uploads on my website. Plan a trip and come fish in some of the best equipment made for fishing.

While home based in the Kentucky/Barkley Lakes Area, I have spent years fishing throughout the south east. Come fish with me on my home lakes or call for rates on lakes such as Old Hickory, Pickwick, Wilson, Grenada, Sardis, Enid, Arkubutla, Ross Barnett, Weiss, Logan Martin, Neely Henry as well as others. I've tournament fished all over the south and have spent many hours hours learning these lakes. Check out the major Crappie Tournament Trail Schedules. If I'm in the area, it would be a great time for a trip.
Fishing Styles
I've chased crappie all over the country and the most important thing I've learned is there are a lot of ways to catch them.I am set up to single pole vertical jig, casting baits, pulling crank baits with or without planer boards, and my personal favorite spider rigging. Nothing like easing up to a stake mat and have 3 or 4 hooked up at one time.

Be sure and ask if you need any help with your trip planning. I'll be glad to help out with lodging and dining recommendations.
Bass Fishing
When I'm, not chasing the crappie on the Tennessee river I am chasing the bass. Between the cover I place in the lake and knowing where the best shell beds are the summer months can be a blast on the ledges . In the spring and fall I follow the fish in and out of the shallows.
Electronics Training
Besides a very basic depth finder on dad's boat, my first real knowledge with sonar came with the US Navy. Serving as a Sonar Technician on a nuclear submarine we tracked Soviet Union ships and subs utilizing high frequency passive sonar during the cold war. While fishing units are nothing like I trained on with the Navy the principles and operations are the same. The active sonar units today continue to improve and are ever evolving. I am currently using the new Humminbird Solix units, 12 and 15 inch as well as the Hummnbird 360. Spend a day or half with me and I'll show you how to interpret what you are seeing and best practices for setting up your units.
